1. Data controller
Personal data collected on www.gpdonkoun.com is processed by Abdourahamane Diallo EI, SIREN 751 005 307, 81 chemin de Crémat, 06200 Nice, France. Contact: contact@gpdonkoun.com.
2. Data we collect
- When you sign up: first name, last name, email address, phone number and password (stored in encrypted form).
- When you post a trip: departure and arrival cities, departure date, available weight and price per kg.
- When you create a package request: preferred departure and arrival cities and, if you fill it in, a description of your package.
- When you pay: amount, date, service purchased and payment status. GP Donkoun never receives or stores your card details, which are processed directly by Stripe.
- When you browse: technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and cookies, as described in Section 8.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Creating and managing your account, publishing trips and requests, connecting users: performance of the contract (Terms).
- Processing payments and refunds: performance of the contract.
- Sending service emails (confirmations, matching-trip alerts): performance of the contract.
- Keeping payment records: legal obligation (accounting).
- Preventing fraud and securing the website: legitimate interest.
- Showing personalized ads: consent.
4. Who receives your data
Your data is never sold. It is only shared with:
- other users: when a Sender pays the contact fee, they receive the relevant Traveler’s name, email and phone number, and the Traveler receives the Sender’s. Your contact details are never shown publicly;
- our technical service providers, who process it on our behalf: OVH (website hosting, in France), Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (confirmations and alerts) and Google (advertising, see Section 8);
- authorities, only where required by law.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Stripe, Google) may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
- Account: while it is active, then deleted after 3 years without login, or as soon as you ask us to delete it.
- Trips and requests: online for 90 days, then archived and deleted along with the account.
- Payment records: 10 years, as required by accounting rules.
- Advertising cookies: 13 months maximum; your choice on the cookie banner is kept for 6 months.
7. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are encrypted and payments go exclusively through Stripe. GP Donkoun does not store any card details.
8. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)
Essential cookies: the website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work (keeping you logged in, remembering your language, securing payments). They do not require your consent.
Advertising cookies: GP Donkoun may show ads through Google AdSense. With your consent, Google may set cookies to measure how well ads perform, personalize them to your interests and limit how often you see the same ad. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
These cookies are only set after you accept them on the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings button shown on the website, or turn off ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Refusing these cookies does not stop you from using the website.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to give instructions on what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, email contact@gpdonkoun.com. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
10. Minors
The website is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data about minors.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. Users will be notified by email of any significant change.
