Article 1 — Publisher and purpose
www.gpdonkoun.com (“GP Donkoun”) is published by Abdourahamane Diallo EI, SIREN 751 005 307, 81 chemin de Crémat, 06200 Nice, France. Contact: contact@gpdonkoun.com.
GP Donkoun is an online platform that connects private individuals who are traveling and have spare room in their luggage (“Travelers”) with private individuals who want a small package delivered (“Senders”). Trips connect Africa, depending on the cities offered on the website, with Europe (France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom), the United States and Canada, in both directions.
These terms apply to all use of the website. By creating an account, users accept them in full.
Article 2 — Nature of the service
GP Donkoun only provides a connection service. GP Donkoun is not a carrier, never handles packages, is not a party to the agreement between Traveler and Sender, and does not collect the delivery price.
Dealings between users are between private individuals: consumer protection rules do not apply to the delivery agreement they make with each other. They do, however, apply to the paid services sold by GP Donkoun (Article 5).
Article 3 — Registration and account
Registration is free. It is open to adults only and requires a valid email address and phone number. Users agree to provide accurate information, to create only one account and to keep their login details confidential.
Article 4 — How it works
4.1 Posting a trip. The Traveler posts a trip stating the departure city, arrival city, departure date, available weight (maximum 5 kg per package) and their delivery price, between €10 and €15 per kg. Each trip is reviewed by GP Donkoun before going live. GP Donkoun may refuse or remove any listing that breaches these terms.
4.2 Search and contact. The Sender searches for a trip by city and date. Results are sorted by departure date; no Traveler pays for a better position. To obtain a Traveler’s contact details, the Sender pays the contact fee. Users’ contact details are never shown publicly.
4.3 Package request. If no trip matches, the Sender can create a request free of charge and will receive an email when a matching trip is posted.
4.4 Delivery price. The delivery price is set by the Traveler in their listing and paid directly by the Sender to the Traveler, outside the platform, on terms they agree between themselves.
4.5 Listing duration. Listings are kept for 90 days and then automatically archived.
Article 5 — Paid services and prices
GP Donkoun charges for two services:
- Listing fee, paid by the Traveler: €10 per trip posted;
- Contact fee, paid by the Sender: €5 per Traveler contacted.
Prices are in euros, all taxes included. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
Payment is made online by card through the secure provider Stripe. GP Donkoun never has access to card details. A confirmation email is sent after each payment.
Article 6 — Right of withdrawal
The service is performed immediately after payment: the listing is submitted for review as soon as it is paid for, and the Traveler’s contact details are unlocked as soon as the contact fee is paid.
Before paying, users expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that they lose their right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (Article L221-28, 1° of the French Consumer Code).
Article 7 — Refunds
- Rejected listing: if GP Donkoun rejects a listing, the €10 listing fee is refunded in full.
- Published listing: the listing fee is non-refundable, including if the Traveler cancels the trip or no Sender gets in touch.
- Unresponsive Traveler: if the Traveler cancels the trip before the package is handed over, or does not reply within 72 hours of being contacted, the Sender may request a full refund of the €5 contact fee by emailing contact@gpdonkoun.com within 30 days of payment.
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days.
Article 8 — Users’ obligations
8.1 Prohibited items. It is strictly forbidden to send or carry: illegal products, drugs, weapons or ammunition; dangerous or flammable products; cash or undeclared valuables; medicines without a prescription; prohibited perishable food; and more generally any item banned by airlines or by the customs rules of the departure and arrival countries.
8.2 Checking the package. The Sender is solely responsible for the contents of their package. The Traveler is encouraged to check the contents in the Sender’s presence before accepting it, and remains free to refuse it.
8.3 Customs. Each user is solely responsible for complying with customs regulations and making any required declarations.
8.4 Conduct. Users agree to be courteous, to honor their commitments and to use the contact details they obtain only for the agreed delivery.
Article 9 — Liability
GP Donkoun cannot be held liable for the loss, theft, damage or delay of a package, for non-payment of the delivery price, or for failure to perform the agreement between users. GP Donkoun makes every effort to keep the website running properly but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Article 10 — Account suspension
In the event of a breach of these terms, a serious report or fraud, GP Donkoun may suspend or delete an account. Fees already paid in connection with the breach are not refunded.
Article 11 — Tax and social security obligations
In accordance with Article L111-7-1 of the French Consumer Code, GP Donkoun informs users that money received for delivering packages may be subject to tax and social security contributions. Each user is responsible for their own declarations. More information: www.impots.gouv.fr and www.urssaf.fr.

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, consumers may bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence or that of the publisher.
